Kids Dental

Kids Dental is the kid-friendly sister clinic to the Cholakis Dental Group, and was primarily focused on children, 18 and under.

As their Digital Marketing Specialist, my strategy primarily revolved around new patient acquisition and retention to ensure patients were converted to a lifetime clients of the brands as a whole. The children’s clinic basically served as the first step in a child’s dental journey, and they would eventually graduate to becoming patients of the adult clinic at the Cholakis Dental Group.

My primary focus was to create and curate an engaging collection of creative pieces to deploy throughout their digital channels which would showcase the clinic’s kid-friendly focus, and intersperse them with fun friendly videos and photos of the dentists, staff and patients, as well as a variety of dental focused content that would interest new parents and young families.

The goal was to create confidence, familiarity and excitement about the clinic experience and it’s providers before a patient walked through the door, as well as positioning the brand within the local Winnipeg parent community as a leader in children’s dentistry.

The following is all the types of content I would create and post to social media and throughout their various digital channels. The headshots, environmental portraits and location photography were also utilized throughout the website and the online booking system to create a single cohesive brand.

Clinic Photos

(Showcasing the newly renovated family area and clinic was also a main focus of my social media strategy. It allowed us to differentiate our brand from our competitors and was an amazing value add to all potential new patient’s and their families.)

Staff and Providers 

(The following is a mixture of my professional headshots, environmental portraits, and fun pics of patients & staff with social media signs. My goal with this content was to alleviate patient anxiety and show the staff in an approachable, fun way.)

(Part of my digital strategy was also to promote theme days for patients and staff to participate in. Here are some photos from those events which I would share on social media.)

Photo Booth Contest

(As part of my strategy to involve patients in our digital advertising, I implemented and managed a photo booth where patients could take selfies, add custom stickers, and send them to their own smartphones where they could be shared for a chance to win a monthly prize. Each of the photos would also receive my customer footer so each share was branded.)

(I was also responsible for patient privacy, managing patient photo releases, and maintain appropriate CASL consent as a part of these project. That way we were able to utilize patient photos across various forms of digital media and advertising appropriately.)

Prizes

(Showcasing contest winners was part of my strategy to elicit participation from parents and patients. Parents were entered to win Amazon gift cards when they shared our content to their own social media followers, in addition to the children’s prizes that the patients enjoyed.)

Community Events

Part of my digital strategy was also to associate our brand with existing local community events with a family focus such as the Winnipeg International Children’s Festival, Kidsfest!

I would leverage free entry for our staff and dentists to attend and we would distribute our Kids Dental gift bags and promotional materials. We’d also get some great publicity and important face time to introduce our dentists and staff to all the parents and families in attendance.

Dental Education 

As part of our community mandate, we would also perform dental education programs throughout Winnipeg. 

This allowed us to teach students about proper oral health care and also send home gift bags to parents with a variety of promotional materials, free dental products and handy dental education materials.

Graphic Design

The online booking system and providing dental education to parents of young children was a primary focus of the digital campaign.
