Cholakis Dental Group

The Cholakis Dental Group is a full service dental practice in the heart of Winnipeg that serves adults 18+.

In combination with their kid-friendly sister clinic, Kids Dental, and the independent specialty dental clinic, the Southwest Specialty Group, the Cholakis Dental Group has created a complete dental experience that’s able to care for patients throughout all stages of life.

As the Digital Marketing Specialist, my strategy involved creating a well curated palette of content that would help unify the brands, attract new patients, and ensure patient retainment and conversion from Kids Dental.

There was also an aspect of referral based business which had to be addressed, as many other family practices in the city would send particularly difficult cases to Dr. Cholakis and his team.

To accomplish this combination of goals, it was important to showcase the clean, modern clinic interior, it’s friendly approachable staff and dentists, and the social proof regarding the superior care patient received at the practice, in addition to the advanced technology that would increase patient experience and quality of care, as well as the digital products which would a patient’s life more convenient.

My primary focus was to create and curate an engaging collection of creative pieces to deploy which would showcase the clinic’s high quality care focus, and intersperse them with fun photos of the staff, patients and a variety of content interesting to young and older adults, as well as any other referring dentists in the city.

It was also important to address that many adults are anxious about going to the dentist, and the goal was to first and foremost address that anxiety by creating confidence, familiarity and excitement about the clinic experience and it’s providers, as well as positioning the brand within the local community as a leader in Winnipeg dentistry.

The following is all the types of content I would create and post to social media and throughout their various digital channels. The headshots, environmental portraits and location photography were also utilized throughout the website and the online booking system to create a single cohesive brand.

Staff and Providers 

(The following is a mixture of my professional headshots, environmental portraits, fun pics with staff, patients and social media signs, as well as clinic interior and exterior photography. I also paid special focus to Dr. Cholakis’ extensive indigenous art collection, which is his passion and is displayed through the clinic.)

Holiday & Game Day Photos

(Part of my strategy to alleviate patient fears and show the staff in an approachable and fun way was to share photos of us enjoying holidays and supporting our local sports teams.)

Technology

Highlighting the clinic’s modern technology and it’s impact on patient experience was part of my focus with the digital strategy.

(From laser teeth whitening, a variety of in-chair entertainment options, and advanced diagnostic technologies, I would share the various ways technology created a better experience, more comfort or more complete care for the patients)

Graphic Design

The online booking system was a primary focus of the digital campaign, as well as creating a connection with the local community and the clinic’s position within it along with the clinic’s tone.

(Because of the age of most of the adult patients at the Cholakis Dental Group, I used audio interviews and combined them with patient photos to create these audio/visual testimonials. I found many patients were more willing to give a testimonial in this fashion, which were traditionally too shy to perform a video interview.)
